5MP OV5640 Auto-Focus USB Camera Board
This USB camera board has a compact format with the convenience of a USB connection. The camera sensor is an OV5640 5MP with Auto-focus, offering a 2592×1944 static image resolution.
It’s “officially” compatible with Windows, Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano, however it’ll most likely work on any system that accommodates UVC cameras.
The camera board comes with USB cable complete with the matching connector. Please ensure you fully unwind the cable before using, as we found that with the cable still tied up, some interference was present.
The product Wiki details how to set up and use the camera, however on most systems it should be relatively plug n’ play (then just check settings to ensure you’re getting the full 5MP – such as with the Windows Camera app).
Note: This camera module can get hot during use – this is normal and expected.
