Waveshare RP2350 Plus
Who doesn’t want a Pico 2 with a few extra features?! The RP2350 Plus is a board inspired by the Raspberry Pi Pico, built around the Raspberry Pi RP2350A dual-core microcontroller. It has the same dual-core Arm Cortex-M33 processor and a dual-core Hazard 3 RISC-V processor, with clock speeds up to 150 MHz. The board includes 520KB of SRAM and 4MB of onboard Flash memory, which gives you plenty of resources for various projects.
To get you powered up, there is a USB Type-C connector, and one of the extra features that the Pico 2 doesn’t have is a lithium battery recharge/discharge header, which is very useful for a project that is on the go! The MP28164 DC-DC chip is a high-efficiency, low-quiescent current buck-boost converter that can supply a maximum 2A load current. The board is compatible with most of the Raspberry Pi Pico add-on modules (Just when you were wondering if you could use them with it)
With 26 multi-function GPIO pins, the Plus provides flexibility for various configurations. It supports multiple interfaces, including 2 SPI, 2 I2C, 2 UART, 4 12-bit ADC channels, and 16 controllable PWM channels. The plus is compatible with C/C++ and MicroPython. It has a comprehensive SDK, development resources, and tutorials to assist you in getting up and running!
This is available in two versions: one without a pin header and one with pre-soldered pin headers. Please select which one you want before adding it to your cart!
Please note: this board uses a tiny MX1.25 connector for LiPo power. Most LiPo batteries on the market (including ours) use a larger JST fitting. We do not yet stock batteries with an MX1.25 connector, however, you can customise your battery with one of our 1.25mm pitch cables to make a compatible battery yourself (assuming you have the ability, knowledge and tools to do this safely).
